His Excellency the Ambasador of Georgia to Poland Ilia Darchiashvili, the honorary consul of Georgia in Wroclaw Wojciech Wrobel and the director of the Jan Nowak-Jezioranski College of Eastern Europe Jan Andrzej Dąbrowski would like to invite everyone to the Wojnowice Castle on 8th August at 1 pm for an event to commemorate the Russia-Georgia War.

13:00 Opening of the exhibition on the Russia’s military aggression in Georgia
13:30 Roundtable discussion:
- 11 years since the August War – lessons learned, current challenges and humanitarian situation in the occupied territories of Georgia
- Ways to achieving sustainable peace
- International and regional implications of the Russia-Georgia conflict
- International support from the perspective of Poland’s current membership in the UN Security Council
