MARIUSZ MARSZAŁKOWSKI is a PhD candidate in security sciences at the Federation of Military Universities in Poland. He has taught at the Naval Academy in Gdynia, the University of Wroclaw and Collegium Civitas. He was previously associated with the College of Europe in Natolin. He is also a publisher and industry analyst covering security and energy issues at Defence24.pl, previously with Polon.pl and BiznesAlert.pl.

JAKUB BORNIO is an assistant professor and deputy directorat the Institute of European Studies of the University of Wrocław,a senior analyst at the Institute of Central Europe in Lublin,and a research fellow with the Jamestown Foundation. He wasa visiting professor at the Corvinus University of Budapest anda guest lecturer at several foreign universities. In his researchhe focuses on the eastern dimension of European security.
