On the 8th of April in Strasbourg, we are co-organizing the conference “France-Germany – A special friendship with a European dimension”. We focus on the European consequences of the German reunification, historical memories and diverging perceptions of these issues in Germany and its neighbours.
This conference is a part of the project “rEUnify: A comparative Study of National Perceptions regarding German Reunification” co-funded by the European Commission. The project is headed by the College of Eastern Europe (KEW) with friends from Germany, France, Czechia and the Netherlands.
