We cordially invite you to take part in the first 2021 online debate in the framework of the project titled “Ost/Wschód: German-Polish Debates on the East”. During this special discussion, we will be focusing on Polish-German policy in Eastern Europe, after the Putin-Biden summit.
The discussion will look at the views on the Transatlantic Alliance, reactions to recent events and summits (including NATO, G7 and the Biden-Putin meeting) and how each country views the situation in Eastern Europe and Russia in the context of the new American administration.
The debate will feature:
– Germany: Liana Fix, Programme Director for International Affairs at the Körber-Stiftung
– Poland: Head of the Russian Department at the Centre for Eastern Studies (OSW)
The debate will be conducted in English, on 23rd June at 5pm. It will be moderated by Adam Reichardt, Editor of New Eastern Europe / Jan Nowak-Jezioranski College of Eastern Europe
