Litewski Instytut Kultury we współpracy z Kolegium Europy Wschodniej pod auspicjami programu Archipelagos organizuje seminarium dla tłumaczy języka litewskiego.
Warsztaty odbędą się w dniach 7-11 października.
Będzie to okazja do poznania najnowszych trendów w literaturze litewskiej, zwiększenie kompetencji językowych oraz nawiązania kontaktów z litewskimi pisarzami i kolegami tłumaczami z innych krajów.
W programie seminarium przewidziano wykłady badaczy literatury litewskiej, o najważniejszych trendach literackich, litewskiej prozie, poezji, dramatach oraz literaturze dziecięcej. Planowane są spotkania z pisarzami, dyskusje na aktualne tematy literackie i historyczne oraz udział w wydarzeniach kulturalnych.
Wszystkie spotkania odbędą się w języku litewskim.
Warsztaty będą okazją do poszerzenie umiejętności, dzielenia się wiedzą, udziału w dyskusjach i zajęciach translatorskich.
Koszty podróży, noclegu i wyżywienie wybranych uczestników zostaną pokryte przez Litewski Instytut Kultury.

Celem sieci Archipelagos jest odkrywanie różnorodności głosów literackich z całej Europy, przede wszystkim z języków rzadziej używanych w międzynarodowym obiegu. Będziemy wspierać pracowników branży książkowej oraz tłumaczy jako odkrywców literackich perełek.

The Lithuanian Cultural Institute, in cooperation with the College of Eastern Europe under the framework of the Archipelagos program, is organizing a seminar for Lithuanian translators.
The workshop will be held in Vilnius from the 7th to the 11th of October.
It will be an opportunity to learn about the current trends in Lithuanian literature, increase linguistic skills and establish contacts with Lithuanian writers and fellow translators from other countries.
The program of the seminar includes lectures by Lithuanian literary scholars, on the most important literary trends in Lithuanian prose, poetry, drama and children’s literature. Selected translators will take part in meetings with writers, discussions on current literary and historical issues and cultural events.
All meetings will be held in Lithuanian.
The workshop will be an opportunity to improve skills, share knowledge, participate in discussions and translation activities.
Travel, accommodation and food costs for selected participants will be covered by the Lithuanian Cultural Institute.
