We cordially invite you to take part in the online lecture and presentation of a new online resource titled: “Melting pot of cultures, sciences and arts: Eastern lands of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and American civilization” in the framework of a project titled “America’s melting pot and Europe’s borderlands. People from the eastern lands of the former Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and their role in the US culture and history”.
During the event, Professor Larry Wolff from New York University who has recently published a book titled Woodrow Wilson and the Reimagining of Eastern Europe, will speak on the perceptions of the region in America through history.
Adam Balcer program director at the Jan Nowak-Jezioranski College of Eastern Europe will then unveil the new web portal of the project.
The event will be moderated by Adam Reichardt, Editor of New Eastern Europe / Jan Nowak-Jezioranski College of Eastern Europe.
